Dean McDonald
I first became aware of the great work that the SCSA was doing in 1998 after I fell from a roof while working as a plumber. It was a life changing experience - my wife and I had a 6 month old baby boy, mortgage etc. when I was told that I would never walk again.
The SCSA was the only organisation that I could find that was actively searching for a cure, and their enthusiasm and passion has helped me through some very difficult times.
Working with the SCSA offers me the opportunity to work with others who have similar goals and make to difference to the lives of thousands of others who have the same condition.
